Chapter Activities:

PATA Norway Chapter was established in 1992 and counts today 90 members, mainly leisure travel agencies and tour operators selling Asian/Pacific destinations but also airlines, journalists and other organizations related to tourism. The new board that was elected in 2009 has revitalized the PATA Norway Chapter by increasing the number of local activities, seminars and workshops. We are offering a much higher number of educational trips to our members(totally 6 last year and even more planned for 2010!). Besides, we have completely renovated our website www.pata.no which has become an important tool to promote and create awareness around the chapter. In addition we have started a newsletter that gets sent out every second month. The Norwegian chapter recently took the initiative to contact the other chapters in the Nordic Countries in order to start a dialog and achieve a closer cooperation throughout the region. PATA Norway Chapter is proud of being part of the PATA family and we will continue working hard to achieve our goals and pursue the organizations values.
