It has been several months since we last gathered in April in Kuching, but PATA Travel Mart 2010 is just around the corner and offers another exciting opportunity to catch up with your fellow board members and look ahead to another fruitful year.

I am pleased to invite you to join me in Macau SAR for the PATA Executive Board and PATA Board Meeting from 17-19 September 2010 immediately following PTM2010. This year, we are grateful to be hosted once again by our longstanding friend and partner Mr. Joao Manuel Costa Antunes, Director of MGTO, at the Grand Hyatt Macau. The weekend promises to be the perfect end to what is sure to be a momentous week.

I hope you’ll arrive in time to join in the week’s PTM activities, which kick off on the 14th of September with the PTM2010 Welcome Reception. Hosted by MGTO in the colourful and culturally rich city of Macau, PTM2010 will be full of industry insight, special workshops and of course, all the valuable business contracting opportunities for which PTM is known. This September, we’ll also be looking ahead to the coming year, in which we will be celebrating PATA’s 60th anniversary. We have a number of exciting events and activities planned to roll out throughout the year, and as always, your participation and involvement will add infinite value.

All of our board and committee members will receive complementary passes to any and all days of the Mart. I would like to especially invite you to join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony on the 15th and the Gold Awards lunch on the 17th. The Mart will conclude with the PTM2011 Invitation Dinner, marking the beginning of the PATA Executive Board and PATA Board Meeting.
