The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel is a 40-story on the Cotai Strip in Macau and is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia and the fourth-largest building in the world by area.
Dress Code:
Business attire is the official dress code during PTM2010 business sessions. Dress code for evening social functions, unless otherwise specified within the programme, is smart casual attire.
Airport Transfers:
Airport transfers from Macau International Airport and Macau Ferry Terminal to PTM2010 official hotels will be made available to all registered delegates arriving on September 12 -14, 2010 and departure transfer will be from September 17-19.
Getting Around:
PTM2010 host, the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), will provide coach shuttle services for connections between PTM2010 official hotels and all official business sessions and social events. The official shuttle schedule will be made available at a later date.

About Macau SAR
The Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) is a part of China's territory. It is located on the Southeast coast of China to the western bank of the Pearl River Delta.

- Time: Macau is 8 hours ahead of GMT (+8 GMT).
- Official Language: The official languages of Macau are Chinese and Portuguese. However, English is widely spoken and understood and usually used in trade, tourism and commerce
- Weather: In brief Macau SAR has 4 climatic seasons :
- Winter: January to February (below 10°C)
- Fall: March to April
- Summer: May to September
- Autumn: October to December
- Currency: The Pataca (MOP$) is Macau's official currency and divided into 100 avos. There are banknotes and coins in the following denominations: Coins: 10, 20 and 50 avos; 1, 2 and 5 Patacas. Banknotes: 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 Patacas
However, Hong Kong dollar (HK$) which is accepted as currency in Macau. The exchange rate is MOP$103.20 = HK$100.00. There is an acceptable variation up to 10%. Roughly 10 Patacas is equivalent to 1 EURO and 8 Patacas is equivalent to 1 US Dollar, delegates may check the currency rate from www.xe.com/ucc and most credit cards are accepted in many hotels, shops and restaurants.
- Electricity: 220V and 50Hz. The power plugs used in Macau are of the three-pin, square-shaped or round-shaped type. Most hotels can provide transformers and adapters.
- Visa: Visas are required by all visitors except;
a) Nationals of Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cape Verde, Croatia, Czech, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominica, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Mongolia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania and the United Kingdom(6 months) for a stay up to 90 days;
b) Nationals of Australia, Canada, Chile, India, Indonesia, Kiribati, Malaysia, Monaco, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, the United States of America and Uruguay for a stay up to 30 days;
c) Holders of "Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card" or "Hong Kong SAR Re-entry Permit"; Valid "Hong Kong Identity Card" holders are required to bring their valid passport or travel documents when they enter Macau.
- Visa on Arrival: Visas are also available on arrival in Macau at the Immigration Services for a period of 30 days, there are three types:
Individual - MOP$100, children under 12 years of age pay MOP$50.Family Passport - MOP$200Group - MOP$50 per person for bonafide groups of 10 or more and children aged 12 or under.
The Immigration Service of Macao Public Security Police Force had an announcement on 02 June 2010 regarding some new arrangements for “Entry Permit” or “Visa-upon-arrival".
Nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are required to obtain an entry visa BEFORE arriving Macau.
