American Eagle will be upgrading its existing CRJ-700 aircraft with First Class service and custom-leather seating introduced on all routes. The carrier is also going in for 22-new CRJ-700s; complete delivery is expected by mid-2011.
The airline, which operates under the umbrella of parent American Airlines, has announced a non-stop service between New York LaGuardia and Charlotte, NC. A coming merger with JetBlue Airways means American as well as American Eagle will soon be able to offer 290-daily departures to 80-destinations.
