A look into Europeans’ attitudes towards tourism

Gallup Europe released the Flash Eurobarometer survey on the attitudes of Europeans towards tourism.

 

The survey was conducted on 27 EU member states as well as five additional countries namely Croatia, Turkey, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Norway, and Iceland. The survey features insights on travel trends in 2010, reasons for Europeans not taking a holiday in 2010, the characteristics of citizens’ main holiday trip in 2010, preferred holiday destinations, vacations plans for 2011.
