A Taste of PATA in London

Over 200 travel agents and travel trade buyers participated in A Taste of PATA 2011 held on September 14 at London’s Borough Market. The well-attended event organised by PATA UK Chapter provided participants an opportunity to network and share Asia Pacific destination and product knowledge.

 

A Taste of PATA is now in its second year. This year’s event was well-attended by exhibitors including the tourist boards of Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Fiji, Cook Islands, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan, Macau, India and China as well as Emirates Airlines. PATA UK Chapter Executive Director Ian Hawkes said, “The huge response and interest in an event only in its second year is a marvelous tribute to the enduring appeal of the Asia Pacific region and to the tourist boards, airlines and others who work so hard to ensure its continuing prominence in the world of travel.”
