Be Wary of Fictitious PATA Cheque Scam

A few months ago, PATA, as well as our bank, Bank of the West, received phone enquiries regarding fictitious cheques allegedly issued by PATA. PATA has since then closed the account (account no: 773030408), on the advice of the bank.

 

PATA, hereby, strongly forewarns members that this is a scam. PATA members or members of the public at large who may receive such cheques should immediately notify PATA by contacting the bank directly in the United States. Tel: (415) 671-4645.
