Call for proxy votes as PATA AGM approaches

With the PATA AGM taking place on 24 April 2010 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (pictured) the deadline is fast approaching for proxy votes. Members not attending the AGM are invited to vote by proxy using the form previously supplied. A further copy of the proxy form is available from the PATA website at: www.pata.org/events. The AGM is an integral part of the Association's annual meeting that this year also embraces a one-day event titled 'Meeting of Minds Tourism Seminar: Strategies, Realities and Charting the Course of Meeting Tourism Challenges'.

The Tourism Seminar, staged in cooperation with the PATA Malaysia Chapter, has attracted an impressive combination of local and international speakers - with BBC presenter Rico Hizon moderating two panel discussions.

The schedule for the PATA Annual Meeting 2010 also embraces PATA Foundation activities - including a Gala Dinner, workshops for PATA Chapters, PATA Board meetings and various category committee meetings.
