Emirates adds on Copenhagen

Dubai-based airline, Emirates, will be launching non-stop daily flights to Copenhagen starting August 1, 2011.

 

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group, was quoted in eTravel Blackboard as having said that Dubai and Copenhagen both have strong maritime and trading traditions. Emirates was looking forward to adding this city to its European network as also welcoming Denmark as the 67^th country on the carrier’s existing network.

 

Copenhagen will be the airline’s 112^th international destination and is the third new route announced by Emirates for 2011.
