Luang Prabang Film Festival Takes Place December 1-5

The 3rd Luang Prabang Film Festival takes place 1-5 December in Luang Prabang, Laos. Twenty-eight films from across Southeast Asia will be screened in three locations in the scenic heritage town beside the Mekong river. Entrance is free.

The festival features ASEAN film productions and short documentaries. There are exhibitions, seminars, workshops and concerts too.

The Luang Prabang Film Festival (LPFF) is an annual celebration of filmmaking in Southeast Asia. It aims to educate Lao people about film as a means of cultural expression and communication and to support a nascent local industry and art form.
