Ngong Ping 360 Supports Against Child Abuse (ACA)

All is invited to join the Against Child Abuse (ACA) Walkathon 2011 to be held on November 20, 2011. The fund-raising event, which coincides with the Universal Children’s Day, aims to promote a caring environment for the children.

 

Universal Children’s Day is instituted by the United Nations (UN) on November 20 annually to promote the welfare of the children of the world. With the support of Ngong Ping 360, the ACA Walkathon 2011 is organized on this special date to uphold the message. Officiating guests included the President of the Legislative Council Hon Jasper Tsang Yok-sing, Managing Director of Ngong Ping 360 Mr Wilson Shao, Child Protection Ambassador and President of Miss Asia Yan Mei Ms Eva Lai, Child Protection Ambassador Ms Leila Tong, and together they will lead 10 children representing different nationalities to express their wish for children’s welfare.

 

The ACA walkathon 2011 will kick-off at the Ngong Ping Village, followed by going along the Ngong Ping Fun Walk route. Embraced by the splendid natural environment, participants will be able to appreciate various tourist attractions on Lantau along the way, as well as enjoy a pleasant and meaningful day.
