Shanghai Airlines teams up with China Eastern

Shanghai Airlines will be phasing out from Star Alliance by this October, following its merger with China Eastern Airlines. Passengers can still avail of the Star Alliance benefits up to the end of October. Post this, Air China will represent the alliance across China.

On the other hand, China Eastern Air will be joining the SkyTeam alliance by mid-2011.
