Tourism Queensland partnered with Jetstar to launch the ‘Vitamin Me’ campaign, a AUD500,000 campaign to urge Australians to vacation in Queensland’s top destinations.
The campaign includes one-way flights from Brisbane to Hamilton Island from AUD79, Sydney to the Gold Coast from AUD69, and Melbourne to the Gold Coast from AUD89.
Tourism Queensland Acting Chief Executive Steve McRoberts was quoted in eTravel Blackboard Australia as having said that during the first phase of the promotion the “Vitamin Me” home page received more than 78,000 visits. McRoberts added that the results of the campaign are proof, once you reward yourself with a Queensland holiday and find your shine you'll want to hold onto that feeling and the best way to do that is by keeping your Vitamin Me levels topped up with regular breaks in Queensland.
