Peter Semone possesses a unique blend of professional experiences in the private and public sectors with a particular expertise in hospitality and tourism development. Most recently, he has lead the implementation of official development assistance projects in Vietnam and Laos, in which he has gained an intimate knowledge of all stages of the project management cycle particularly in transition economies. Previously, Peter served in senior management of a not-for-profit trade association where he gained an understanding of organizational dynamics, strategic planning, membership retention, board relations and partnership development. Early in his career, Peter founded a destination management company in Indonesia. In his free time, Peter enjoys part-time lecturing at colleges and universities on a variety of tourism-related subjects and his academic work has been published in peer- reviewed journals. He continues to seek unique challenges in the hospitality, tourism and education fields that can benefit from his extensive professional experiences and notable leadership talents. Peter is currently interested in taking on a senior executive or non-executive board role in for profit and not-for-profit organisations.
