Blue Dragon Tours: Kayaking resumes on all cruise trips to Halong Bay

QUANG NINH, May 19, 2017 – After one month of temporary suspension, kayaking is now allowed again on all cruise trips to Halong Bay. However, the kayaking area is now confined to 8 registered destinations instead of being freely organized by cruise operators. The move will help the Management Board to better manage this service, especially in regards of safety procedure.

Kayaking is without doubt one of the most thrilling activities that allow visitors to discover the Bay on their own. When taking a Halong cruise trips, passengers are often given the option of either kayaking or taking local bamboo boat to visit caves or fishing villages. There are currently over 1,400 active kayaks in both Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.

The decision to re-allow kayaking will certainly be a delight for those who plan to visit Halong Bay from May onward. Halong Bay is one of the most famous attractions in Vietnam, known for its tower karst and emerald water. The Bay has constantly been named as world’s natural wonder and a must-see when one visits Vietnam.
