Dr Duverger is the president of PhD Consulting LLC, a boutique research firm focusing on quantitative marketing analyses in general, and on travel and tourism specifically.
Dr Duverger is also a Senior Research Scholar at the George Washington University’s International Institute of Tourism Studies. In addition, he is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the College of Business and Economics at Towson University where he directs the Master of Science in Marketing Intelligence program.
His research focuses on service innovation and quantitative methods with an emphasis on tourism and hospitality. Dr Duverger has published in the Advances in Consumer Research, Creativity and Innovation Management, the International Journal of Market Research, the Journal of Travel Research and the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research.
He has collaborated in many tourism research projects such as the creation of the Adventure Tourism Development Index (ATDI), adventure market sizing and study of the adventure travel tourism industry for several country tourism organisations.
Dr Duverger spent 20 years in the service industry in different executive capacities including hotel General Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Entrepreneur and Business Owner.
