Bring business to your destination, welcome worldwide business travellers and expand media exposure to showcase your destination as the host of a prestigious PATA travel trade event. PATA Government/Destination members are invited to bid for PATA’s signature travel trade events in 2017 and 2018 including PATA Annual Meetings (PAM), PATA Travel Mart (PTM), PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference and Mart (ATRTCM), and PATA New Tourism Frontiers Forum (NTFF). As Asia Pacific economies continue their strong economic rebound, the current planning period is an opportune time for your destination to enhance its future travel and tourism business. The successful record of PTM 2014 in Cambodia shows that the economic impact from an initial investment is repaid many times over. Independent research by Dr. Stephen Pratt of School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong SAR shows that for each US$1 invested, a return of US$8.9 is secured for the host destination and sponsors.
