The PATA team is currently packed with projects to wrap up, activities to organise, and events to attend over the course of November. Here’s where we will be this month. Come say hi if you see us at any of the event below! 

November 6: PATA CEO Mario Hardy and Chief of Staff Trevor Weltman will be attending World Travel Market (WTM) London and speaking at the PATA Annual WTM Session 2019. 

November 11-13, Graham Harper, Director of Sustainability & Social Responsibility, will be attending the One Planet Sustainable Tourism Meeting in Asia and the Pacific in Yeosu, Republic of Korea.

November 14: PATA CEO Mario Hardy will be attending the ADB Annual CAREC Ministerial Conference in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 

November 21: PATA CEO Mario Hardy will be attending the International Member Council Meeting/UnionPay in Vientiane, Laos.

November 21-22: Parita Niemwongse, Director of Human Capital Development, will be a panelist at the Philippine Tourism Convention 2019 under the theme “Decent Jobs in Tourism: Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future” in Pasay City, the Philippines.

Nov. 25-26:  PATA CEO Mario Hardy will be attending the PATAcademy-HCD: China and Russia Outbound Tourism Markets in the PATA Engagement Hub, Bangkok, Thailand. 

November 27 – 29: PATA headquarters staff will be organising the PATA Destination Marketing Forum in Pattaya, Thailand. 

  • During the event, PATA CEO Mario Hardy will deliver a welcome remarks and moderates the discussion on how organisations can provide a more personalised and immersive travel experiences for a myriad of traveller segments and audience groups in the session titled: The case for Universal Design
  • Mr. Graham Harper, Director of Sustainability & Social Responsibility, will give an introduction to the panel discussion on the community-based tourism in Thailand. 

November 27-29, Graham Harper, Director of Sustainability & Social Responsibility, will be attending the 44th GMS Tourism Working Group Meeting in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
