Just like busy bees, the PATA team is packed with projects to wrap-up, activities to organise, and events to attend over the new few weeks. From now until April, come say hi to us if you find yourself in any of the events below.

For the month of May:

May 8-12: PATA CEO Dr Mario Hardy, the Events Team, Membership Team, and Marketing Team will be welcoming delegates to the PATA Annual Summit (PAS) 2019.  Hosted by the Philippines Department of Tourism in Cebu, Philippines, our Director of Communications & External Affairs, Paul Pruangkran will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for PAS under the theme, ‘Progress with a Purpose’. We will be posting real-time updates for the event on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram – make sure to follow us or search for the official hashtag: #PAS2019!

May 22-23: PATA CEO Dr Mario Hardy and Director of Human Capital Development Parita Niemwongse will be welcoming participants at ‘PATA Human Capacity Building Programme’ in Sabah, Malaysia. Hosted by the Sabah Tourism Board (STB), the two-day intensive workshop will be held on May 22-23, 2019 at the Marriott Hotel Kota Kinabalu.

May 26-27: PATA Director of Communications & External Affairs Paul Pruangkran together with PATA CEO Dr Mario Hardy will be attending Skift Forum Asia in Singapore. Skift Forum Asia is a fast paced, day long conference featuring TED-style talks and deep dive Q&A’s with travel’s most insightful business leaders and creative thinkers.

May 30-31: PATA CEO Dr Mario Hardy will be speaking at the Asian Resilience Summit in Kathmandu, Napal. Organised by the Resilience Council, alongside partner the Nepal Tourism Board, this event will review successful policies in Nepal which led to stabilization and growth of the travel sector.
