ISTANBUL, October 11, 2017 – Hitit CS is expanding its customer portfolio in Europe. Today a new partnership agreement has been signed by Hitit and French carrier Chalair Aviation. After several customer gains in Asia and Africa, Chalair is the seventh new customer of Hitit in a year. Chalair refers to APG Airline which is powered by APG Network which is one of the world’s major general sales agents and service providers for airlines.
Hitit continues to grow in the market of travel and airline IT solutions. The partnership between Hitit and Chalair is a new example for Hitit’s acceleration in the European aviation region. Chalair based in Caen Carpiquet Airport in France operates since 1986 and today operates 140 flights per week with its fleet of Beechcraft and ATR aircraft type. The airline will make use of Hitit’s systems for passenger reservation Crane PAX, departure control Crane DCS and revenue accounting Crane RA.
In pursuance of the agreement, Chalair will distribute and deliver passenger services with Crane PAX, the innovative passenger service system. In addition, Chalair will implement fast and effective check-in experience by using Crane DCS, a web based departure control system. The airline will also consolidate and process all sales to calculate financial figures for interline billing and accounting with Crane RA, Hitit’s end-to-end revenue accounting system.

The partnership between Hitit and Chalair has been supported by APG Network, one of the world’s major general sales agents and service providers for airlines. APG Network, serving more than 200 airlines on six continents, has introduced its own airline company APG Airlines with Hitit’s solutions last year. APG Airlines used Crane PAX technology to sell interlining tickets of other carriers over the biggest GDS.
