A year after the successful Kimchi Workshop was organised, PATA Malaysia Taylor’s Student Chapter (PATA-MTSC) is now back with a new cultural activity – Kimbap Workshop! This workshop is brought to you by PATA-MTSC with an aim where participants would be able to learn about other countries’ cultural diversity. As there are quite a number of Korean students in Taylor’s University, we want to share this knowledge with other students from other countries as an introduction to Korean culture. As we know, kimbap is a popular Korean dish made from steamed rice with vegetables, crab sticks, spinach in the middle and rolled with seaweed, served in a bite size so you can eat kimbap with your hands. Kimbap is often eaten during picnics or outdoor events, or as a light lunch, served with danmuji or kimchi.
We will be having the workshop on Friday, 5th December 2014 at Travel Tourism Room 2 in Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Malaysia. The workshop will start from 12.00pm till 2.30pm with a registration fee of RM35 per participant. Participants will not only be able to bring home a set of new skills but also their own handmade kimbap together with a keychain specially made for them by our PATAns!
