BANGKOK, Jul 11, 2018 – PATA Life Member Neil Plimmer recently published his memoir, Compass Points. During his illustrious career with diplomatic postings in the US, Italy and Australia as well as CEO of New Zealand’s tourism agency for 11 years, Neil also served on the PATA Board of Directors for most of the 1980s and early 1990. Amongst his many roles, he was also Chairman of PATA and the PATA Conference in 1984, President of the Association in 1991, and leader of the PATA Task Force to Korea DPR Korea in 2003. His memoir covers these and many other events in tourism, as well as his other lives in foreign affairs, economic development, and the arts.
