“On behalf of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, the Sino-American Friendship Association cordially invites you to participate as a special guest to our event “Incredible Beijing: an Evening of Chinese Culture” on Saturday, September 3, 2016. It will be held at Citi Field in conjunction with a New York Mets baseball game. This event will feature the 2016 U.S.- China Tourism Year and showcase China’s capital, BEIJING.
Thirty or forty NY PATA member travel agencies, tour operators and travel media are invited to attend the VIP and media reception. It will showcase Beijing as a top-tier ancient cultural and historical destination with over 3,000 years of history.
After the event guests are welcome to stay for the New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals baseball game followed by fireworks.
This event will serve to enhance NY PATA network in China by providing valuable connections with Chinese tourism administration officials and travel agencies. Bring your business cards.
The event will begin with a VIP and media reception attended by officials and dignitaries, business executives and community leaders from the United States and China. The event will also feature a Beijing tourism promotion booth to further encourage Americans to travel to Beijing.
“An Evening of Chinese Culture” has been the most influential and the largest Chinese cultural celebration on the East Coast of the U.S. since its inception in 2009. It has been a great success with an audience of over 40,000 Chinese and Americans and with the participation of a variety of organizations throughout NY, NJ, CT, and PA.
The event will be covered by over 50 major media outlets and will be televised globally to millions of viewers.
Attached is a detailed agenda of the Beijing tourism promotion at the stadium.”
