Paul has been covering the travel industry for more than 10 years, for outlets including Condé Nast Traveler, where he held a variety of roles including articles editor, and The Huffington Post, where he covered breaking news that affected the travel industry. Though he’s worked at both legacy and start-up media outlets and for both print magazines and digital-only publications, the focus of his reporting over the years has been how consumers can have better trips and the trends shaping the future of the industry. Now at SkiftX, the branded content studio of Skift, he helps brands spot trends, identify new markets, and better tell their stories. Outside of work, he’s an unrepentant traveler who’s fond of counting passport stamps, looking at old vacation photos, and sailing small craft on the beautiful Hudson River.
