Stu Lloyd is well-known in many sectors of the travel industry in Asia Pacific. As an ad man, he has created award-winning marcomms strategies and materials for Tourism New Zealand, TAT, Sheraton, Hilton, and MOHG’s long-running ‘fan’ campaign. As a travel writer, his features have graced the pages of National Geographic Traveler, Travel +Leisure, South China Morning Post, The Australian, etc.
As an author, the Telegraph UK called Stu ‘The Perfect Storyteller’, and his book The Missing Years was a finalist in the Australian Society of Travel Writers book of the year awards. He has also published 6 other books selling 100,000 copies, and been the Acting Publisher at Travel Daily Media.
Formerly Senior Director at PATA, Stu is now Chief Hothead and Training Director at Hotheads Innovation, developing creativity and innovation skills in teams across Asia from Citibank, SHELL, Movenpick, Banyan Tree, Bangkok Airways, Centara, Accor, Marriott, etc. Be warned: he has a reputation for bringing energy and passion (and a little craziness!) into the training room.
