BANGKOK, 26 February 2015 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Visa have collaborated once again to promote Thailand as a destination of world class dining experiences with the return of “Thailand Splash and Spice 2015”.
This is the fourth year of the festival, which commences on March 1 and runs through until May 31, offering international and Thai Visa cardholders great deals at some of the country’s leading hotels and restaurants. Up to 80 participating hotels in Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Samui, and Hua Hin will offer special discounts, with hotel fine-dining experiences starting at 749+ baht for lunch.
“This campaign will support the reputation of Thailand as a great destination for travelers around the world, and also help to promote hotels and restaurants in key tourist centers in Thailand,” said Vilaiwan Twichasri, TAT’s Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business.
“This year organizers upped the ante by focusing on four-stars-and-above restaurants, with revolving themes and signature dishes, and extending the campaign by a month” added Ms. Vilaiwan.

The campaign offers discounts and one-of-a-kind experiences for Thai and international gourmet food lovers. This year the promotion includes special set menus and buffets for lunch and dinner at two different prices of 749++ baht and 1,499++ baht. Some participating hotels also offer special packages and discounts for accommodation.
The festival complements a number of other high profile events, such as the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale, that Visa and TAT cooperate on as part of their longstanding collaboration to promote Thailand as a destination of choice to Visa cardholders around the world.
