Chi Lan Nguyen - Events Intern

Hello everyone! I’m Chi Lan from Vietnam. I graduated from the Spanish Department at Hanoi University. I’m a Q2 Events Intern of PATA. Since I was a student, I have always been fascinated by the dynamics of every event I have joined, both onsite and online. Therefore, I have been passionate about being an event manager. I began my journey by being a part of the organising board for my school’s events, and now I’m proud to be an intern of PATA’s Event Team. Being with PATA allows me to fulfil my dream in a fast-paced and professional environment. Not only do I have more practical experience in event management, but I also gain knowledge about the tourism and hospitality industries. At the same time, the PATA family helps me to expand my networking and to meet up with and learn from talented friends and colleagues from different cultures. As an event associate, I’m looking forward to contributing to the development of PATA, increasing our team productivity, honing my skills and talents in both the event and tourism fields, and meeting wonderful people. Thanks PATA for giving me this invaluable opportunity.

This has not only broadened my perspective but has also given me a deeper appreciation for the diversity and beauty of different cultures. I also possess extensive knowledge in areas such as tourism planning and development, destination management, and community-based tourism. I also have a fond interest in tourism research, as I believe research data is a powerful tool to produce tourism planning and development strategies. That’s why I joined the SIC team in PATA, to develop my skills in research data techniques internationally. I’m very happy to be given the opportunity to work with wonderful people from different countries and cultures. I hope I could bring a valuable contribution to both the organisations and myself. I’m looking forward to experiencing another great opportunity with PATA families.
