Nepal, 21th November 2021 - PATA Nepal Chapter and PATA Bangladesh Chapter partnered on the "Nepal-Bangladesh Tourism Promotion and B2B Exchange" initiative, which ended on November 21, 2021.

The major goal of this collaboration, which took place from November 16 to November 21, was to boost the promotion of this magnificent location through mutual bonding both inside and beyond the country, as well as with neighboring countries. It was a fantastic endeavor to rebuild the tourism sector after the havoc of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The PATA Nepal Chapter hosted a 17-member PATA Bangladesh Delegation Team. The Deputy Director of the Bangladesh Tourism Board, Chairman Shahid Hamid, and Secretary-General of PATA Bangladesh, Taufiq Rahman were also present. This event also included ten tour operators, two media representatives, and two students from the PATA Bangladesh Dhaka University Student Chapter.

They hosted a dinner party for us at The Everest Hotel and welcomed us gracefully. The main event took place at Park Village Resort on November 20. Taufiq Rahman, Secretary-General of the PATA Bangladesh Chapter, gave a presentation on the tourism horizon of Bangladesh. The PATA Nepal Chapter performed traditional Nepalese dance and songs before giving a presentation on their own country.

From our PATA Bangladesh  Dhaka University Student chapter side, we presented our activities as well as the destination branding element of the presentation.

It was a joyful and remarkable Time spent with the PATA Nepal Chapter as well as we altogether achieved the primary goal of promoting wonderful destination management. This collaboration strengthened our friendship even more than before. We are grateful for the spectacular collaboration with them.
