50 Best to Release Documentary Exploring Azerbaijan’s Gastronomy and Tourism

Part of the “50 Best Explores” content series by 50 Best Discovery, this special episode was filmed across several regions of Azerbaijan, showcasing the country’s diverse culinary heritage. Michelin-starred chef Willem Hiele whose restaurant is ranked No.62 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, joined the journey, getting a taste of the country’s authentic flavors and traditions.

Viewers will travel alongside Chef Hiele to Basgal State Historical-Cultural Reserve, Galajig village, Baku including Yashil Bazaar and Icherisheher, and the Lankaran region with its famed Citrus Valley.
