PATA Sustainability

Building A Meaningful, Responsible, and Resilient Tourism Future.

PATA collaborates with members and partners to create solutions that support the entire tourism industry and supply chain, from national tourism authorities to informal workers.

We work with local and international projects and initiatives for building the capacity towards resilience and sustainability in businesses, communities and destinations across the Asia Pacific and beyond.

Our Commitments

Sustainability Policy

In support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), PATA works strategically with our members and partners to balance the impact of the tourism industry on society, the economy and the environment. By applying a systematic approach to championing sustainability and social responsibility initiatives, PATA inspires impact in creating positive change exponentially, both within the organisation and across the PATA network.

Carbon Neutral Events

PATA's Events are an intrinsic part of our work. It is through our events that we connect with our members and bring them together to share knowledge, discuss pressing topics in the industry and work together towards a common goal: a robust, thriving and sustainable tourism industry. For this reason, PATA commits in 2023 to deliver carbon neutral events in support of our Sustainability Policy and Climate Action Plan.
