FIJI Showcases at Boutique Luxury Roadshow in New Zealand

A traditional meke performance by the Mata Dance warriors set the scene for the Boutique Luxury Fiji Roadshow, held in Christchurch (17 June) and Auckland (18 June). The roadshow was an opportunity for travel advisors, media and industry stakeholders to connect directly with Fiji's leading luxury resorts and Fiji Airways, strengthening awareness of the destination's high-value tourism offerings within the New Zealand market.

Participating partners included Royal Davui Island Resort, Nanuku Resort, Tokoriki Island Resort, Likuliku Lagoon Resort, Six Senses Fiji, Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, Wakaya Island Resort & Spa, Yasawa Island Resort & Spa and VOMO Island Fiji.

Following the cultural welcome, agents participated in a series of engaging 10-minute updates, offering valuable insights into the latest developments and offerings across each property.  The event also featured a consumer media networking afternoon tea.

Despite the chilly weather, both Christchurch and Auckland attracted strong turnouts and engagement from trade and media, supporting Tourism Fiji’s efforts to grow demand for premium travel experiences and high-value visitors.
