A new chapter begins for PATA Thailand Chapter!

The PATA Thailand Chapter proudly held its 2026 Annual General Meeting at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) ,and it was a milestone day in every sense of the word.

The event was graced by Professor Dr. Tippawan Lorsuwannarat, President of NIDA, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sangkae Punyasiri, Dean of the Graduate School of Tourism Management, alongside our wonderful members and industry partners.

One of the most exciting highlights of the day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between NIDA and PATA Thailand Chapter —a meaningful shared commitment to deepening the partnership between academia and industry in driving sustainable tourism development forward.

The AGM also marked a new beginning with the election of our new Executive Committee. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all newly elected members — and a very special congratulations to our newly appointed President, Assistant Professor Dr. Paithoon Monpanthong as you lead the Chapter into an exciting new term.

Closing the day on a purposeful note, the new Executive Committee convened its first meeting — setting a clear and inspired direction for the year ahead.
