Tahiti Tourisme Launches Mainland China Representation RFP for 2027
Request for Proposal: PR, Trade, Digital & Marketing Representation for The Islands of Tahiti in Mainland China
Tahiti Tourisme, the Destination Marketing Organization of French Polynesia, has launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting qualified agencies to participate in a competitive process for its PR, Trade, Digital & Marketing Representation for The Islands of Tahiti in Mainland China, effective 1 January 2027.
Tahiti Tourisme is seeking to appoint a qualified agency to act as its strategic and operational representative in Mainland China.
Scope of the Mandate
The mandate covers:
China market strategy and intelligence
Travel trade and distribution development
Digital, social media and content
Public relations, media and creators
Consumer campaigns and partnerships
Connectivity, airlines and gateway intelligence
Market performance measurement and reporting
The selected partner will also be expected to contribute to Tahiti Tourisme's three-to-five-year vision for the development of Mainland China, in addition to preparing and implementing a concrete 2027 operating plan.
Key dates
2 September 2026: RFP publication
11 September: Intent to Bid + signed NDA
15 September: deadline for written questions
18 September: consolidated responses / common data pack
16 October: proposal deadline
22–23 October: finalist interviews
