Japan, 16 October 2025 - The Center for Tourism Research at Wakayama University will hold the International Symposium Series 2025-2026, themed “Responsible Tourism,” on November 1, 2025.

CTR is organizing this symposium series to promote the importance of destination management and tourism education and to exchange knowledge and experiences on this theme from various perspectives over the past year. This year's symposium will bring experienced, accomplished, and dedicated professionals from academia and industry in Japan to exchange their expertise, knowledge, and experiences. The symposium will take place in a hybrid format (face-to-face in Wakayama and Zoom webinar).
