The diversity of sectors, scales and capacities makes raising standards a formidable task. Using a project case study, the speaker will share practical experiences and lessons learned supporting tourism businesses in Thailand to reach common standards of sustainability, and ensure the long-term success of these measures.

The Travel for LiFE certification, a measure rooted in internationally benchmarked standards tailored to the Indian context. The certification, a cornerstone of the National Strategy for Sustainable Tourism, serves as a guiding framework for tourism service providers, fostering sustainable and resilient tourism practices for tourism service providers.
