The Thai Ecotourism and Adventure Travel Association (TEATA) is a pioneering organization dedicated to advancing sustainable, responsible, and ecotourism in Thailand. Founded in 1997 to support tour operators, hoteliers, local communities, and industry stakeholders, TEATA champions eco-friendly practices, fosters community engagement, and drives innovation in sustainable travel. Through research initiatives, training programs, and international collaborations, TEATA actively promotes carbon neutral tourism—transforming the industry from traditional to carbon neutral. Today, more than 300 carbon neutral tour packages are available across Thailand, showcasing the country’s commitment to a greener and more sustainable future
