Aoranich Saleewong

Ms. Aoranich Saleewong, from Chiang Rai, Thailand, holds a B.B.A. (Hons) in Hotel Management and an MSc in International Hotel and Tourism Management, with professional experience in France, the UK, and Thailand. She currently serves as Project Leader and Advisor at the Chiang Rai Learning Innovation Center, Ministry of Public Health, where she leads initiatives connecting tourism, wellness, and technology through public–private collaboration.
Her research focuses on how E-health public–private partnerships can enhance access to quality healthcare for elderly travellers and promote smart, age-friendly destinations.

At the PATA Destination Marketing Forum 2025, Ms. Aoranich will speak in the session “Interlude: Blend Your Tea”, featuring Sawanbondin, the artisan tea brand she co-founded in 2015 with Mr. Chukiat Vasaruchapong. Based in Chiang Rai, Sawanbondin embodies sustainability, wellness, and the preservation of local wisdom. As cultural “tea ambassadors,” they have cultivated the region’s identity through destination marketing that blends heritage with innovation. Their philosophy emphasises aligning business growth with social responsibility and cultural preservation. Through international recognition and creative collaborations, Sawanbondin continues to convey the message of “local meets global,” celebrating the artistry and authenticity of Northern Thailand’s tea heritage on the world stage.
