Bella Vongvisitsin

Dr. Bella Vongvisitsin (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in Tourism Management at HKMU Business School. She holds a PhD in Tourism Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a Certified Hospitality Educator by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute. Dr. Bella is a recognized scholar with publications in top-tier journals on community building through tourism, diversity and inclusion, and travel technology start-up entrepreneurship. Beyond academia, Bella has led transformative consultancy projects in Southeast Asia, working with prominent national tourism organizations. Advocating for inclusive tourism and gender equality in travel, Dr. Bella also serves on advisory boards and leads research initiatives for Travel Unity and the IGLTA Foundation.
