Co-founder and CEO, Inclusive Tourism Asia

Bella Thanakarn Vongvisitsin (she/her) is tourism development scholar and transgender rights advocate. She is currently a Co-founder and CEO of Inclusive Tourism Asia Limited, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Candidate at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In her research and professional career, she is passionate about community participation in planning and development. Her expertise is related to community-based tourism, diversity and inclusion, destination management, and organisational development. She also contributes to LGBTIQ+ rights through regional and national platforms by serving as President of ILGA Foundation (ILGA Asia) and Chair of Transpiration Power.
