Dong-Gwang Son

CEO, Stay Hotel; Former Chairman, Yeongil Bay Tourism Special Zone Council

Dong-Gwang Son previously served as Chairman of the Yeongil Bay Tourism Special Zone Council, one of the key tourism-related organizations in Pohang, the host city of the 2026 PATA Annual Summit. He currently serves as a member of the Pohang Youth Policy Coordination Committee, where he contributes to the development of foundational youth policy plans by fostering communication and building consensus with young people.

Born and raised in Pohang, a maritime industrial city, he has long held a strong interest in marine environmental issues arising from coastal environments and industrial development. He has continuously demonstrated a sense of responsibility toward the local community and the environment. In addition, as a hotel operator currently managing a hotel in Pohang, he contributes to the revitalization of tourism and regional development based on his practical experience and professional expertise in the local tourism industry.
