Dr. Peeradorn Kaewlai

Dr. Peeradorn Kaewlai is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University. His teaching and research focus on built environment design-research, urban development, and creativity and design that enhance competitiveness of cities.
Peeradorn has been actively working with the government and private sector on research and projects that increased city economic competitiveness. His recent projects include MICE Model for UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN), New Creative Districts 2025, 10 New TCDC Regional Offices, Specialised Expo 2028 - Phuket, Nakhon Ratchasima International Horticultural Expo 2029, Thailand Riviera Masterplan, UNESCO Creative Cities Network Project for Bangkok and Suphanburi, Framework for Thailand Creative District Network, Development Strategies for MICE City in Phuket, Northeast 1 Provinces, and Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), Charoen Krung Creative District, New TCDC at the Grand Postal Building, R-Walk: an elevated walkway connecting Ratchaprasong and Pratunam Districts, Development Guidelines for Creative Village in Rural Thailand. He is the recipient of the Thammasat University’s Distinguished Researcher Award in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
