Youth Director, The Guam Visitors Bureau

Flori-Anne Dela Cruz is PATA Face of the Future 2019, as well as the Youth Director on the Guam Visitors Bureau’s Board of Directors. As the youth director, she serves as the vice-chair for Destination Management/Visitor Safety and Satisfaction committee and North America and Pacific Market committee. She believes that sustainable tourism development starts with educating and shifting mindsets of local stakeholders on sustainability. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in the University of Guam and associate’s degree in travel and tourism in Guam Community College.

About The Guam Visitor Bureau (GVB)

The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB), a non-profit membership corporation, is the official tourism agency for the U.S. Territory of Guam. Among its responsibilities, GVB is charged with setting tourism policy and direction; developing and implementing Guam’s tourism strategic and marketing plans; managing programs and activities that enhance and showcase Guam’s people, place and culture in order to deliver an incomparable visitor experience; and coordinating tourism-related research planning, events and outreach activities. GVB serves as a critical bridge linking governments. The tourism industry, visitors and the local community, and aims to contribute successfully to a good quality of life for residents through tourism.
