Graduating from Ming Chuan University in Taipei, Taiwan in 2021, Janine came back to Palau to find ways in which she can give back to her local community and work in a field that she was passionate about. She began working at the Palau Visitors Authority shortly after returning. Within the tourism sector, Palau Visitors Authority has been part of a multitude of works from community outreach to environmental efforts to showcasing the uniqueness of their island. The scope of the work of which she has been a part of has allowed her to grow as a young professional.
