Jessie F. McComb recently joined the Asian Development Bank as a Senior Tourism Industry Specialist where she is building the ADB tourism portfolio and leading the Sustainable Tourism Community of Practice. She has a passion for identifying untapped opportunities and designing high-impact initiatives that drive investment, create jobs, and foster sustainable growth. Prior to joining ADB, Jessie held a senior position at the World Bank and International Finance Corporation, where she led regional initiatives on sustainable tourism and advised governments on policy reform, integrating planning, and investment strategies, promoting private sector–led tourism development. With over 20 years of experience, she has become a trusted advisor to governments and businesses seeking to maximize the economic potential of tourism. Jessie holds a Masters of Tourism Administration from the George Washington University with a concentration in Sustainable Destination Management and is the author The Future of Pacific Tourism and Rethinking Caribbean Tourism: Strategies for a More Sustainable Future.
