Karen Yue

Group Editor, TTG Asia Media

Karen Yue is the Group Editor of TTG Asia Media’s TTG Travel Trade Publishing business unit, a position that sees her leading a team of editors, reporters and correspondents across Asia-Pacific and upholding the editorial quality of the team.

She is personally involved in the production of regular titles as well as special editions such as the TTG Show Daily at major trade events.

In 2015, Karen launched TTGassociations, a magazine for trade associations and which advocates the importance of holding meetings and events.

In 2017, she created the TTG Content Lab division to support industry stakeholders in their marketing content creation. The division has since evolved to produce a wider range of content across print, online, video and face-to-face platforms.

In 2018, she launched and produced the company's annual ASEAN MICE Cruise Conference in Bangkok. The event was put on pause after the 2023 edition.

In 2020, she debuted TTG Conversations, a series of webinars and video interviews, as well as Travel Spark by TTG, a programme that inspires travel and events desire and ideas in a post-lockdown era. She produces and fronts these as moderator and presenter.

Under her charge, features published under the titles of TTG Asia, TTGmice and TTG Asia Luxury have won several PATA Gold Awards, a recognition of editorial quality issued by the not-for-profit membership association that works to advance a meaningful Pacific-Asia tourism economy.

She joined TTG Asia Media in 2006, and has held the title of Group Editor since 2012.
