Chief Financial & Sustainability Officer, Lodging, CapitaLand Investment; Managing Director, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Japan, and Korea (ROK), The Ascott Limited

Ms Beh Siew Kim is appointed the Chief Financial & Sustainability Officer, Lodging, CapitaLand Investment with a concurrent role as Managing Director, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Japan, and Korea (ROK), The Ascott Limited on 1 Aug 2022. She is also a non-independent, non-executive director of CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS). In her role, Siew Kim will oversee all aspects of Lodging’s finance, capital management, treasury, and investors relations functions. She will also lead Lodging’s sustainability efforts to strengthen its sustainability practices, identify areas to which improvements can be made in accordance with the Group’s commitment to sustainability. Additionally, Siew Kim will have oversight on the business and operations in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Japan and Korea (ROK).

Ms Beh was the Chief Executive Officer of the Managers of CLAS from 1 May 2017 till 1 July 2022. CLAS is listed on SGX and is the largest hospitality trust with ~ S$8b Asset under Management. Ms Beh spearheads the overall strategic planning and implementation of investment and operational strategies for CLAS . During her tenure she has led numerous transactions, including the landmark merger between CLAS and Ascendas Hospitality Trust in 2019. Under her leadership, CLAS has also been recognised for its excellence in sustainability and corporate governance. CLAS was named the ‘Global Sector Leader – Hotel’ in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and was ranked 1st in the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index for REITs and Business Trusts in 2021 and 2022. ART was also recently the first hospitality trust globally to issue a sustainability linked bond in April 2022.

Ms Beh has over 25 years of experience in investment, financial and corporate planning, development, compliance and audit.
