Willem Niemeijer is the Founder and CEO of YAANA Ventures, a developer, owner, and operator of sustainable travel and hospitality businesses in Asia. Its portfolio includes Khiri Group (which he founded in 1993) and VHG Asia, which creates and manages luxury tented camps and ecolodges. Award-winning projects include Anurak Community Lodge in Thailand and Cardamom Tented Camp in Cambodia, both recognized internationally for sustainability excellence. VHG’s newest brand, Visama Lodges, will open a camp in Thailand’s Nan Province in November 2025, with further development underway in Cambodia. YAANA also created HMP Master, a proprietary hotel management platform.
