Qatar:

Hamad International Airport (HIA) announced on April 26 the resumption of operations by additional interntaional airlines, as flight activity to and from Doha continues to expand. The Peninsula Qatar (Apr 26)

The UAE:
The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that all airspace restrictions have now been lifted, bringing flight operations across the country back to normal. Air Arabia has launched a new route connecting Sharjah and London Gatwick, while also resuming its daily flights to Aleppo, Syria, commencing just this July 4. Canada

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) now urges Pakistan applicants to change timelines and account for an additional weekly delay for submissions on applications of the Canadian Super Visa.

Starting on May 26, Indonesian and Malaysian citizens who have held a Canadian temporary resident visa (TRV) in the last 10 years or who currently hold a valid US non-immigrant visa—and have therefore previously been screened by Canada or the US—may be eligible to apply for an electronic travel authorization (eTA) instead of a visa when travelling to or transiting through Canada by air. People who already have a valid TRV can continue to use it to travel to Canada.

Mexico

Starting in August, Mexico will launch an electronic visa platform for foreign tourists eliminating the need for in-person visits to consular offices. The e-visa costing 32 USD is not valid for travel by land or sea. It only applies to foreigners entering via air for tourism, cultural or family purposes and require a visa to enter mexico. It does not allow any work activities and is valid for a maximum of 180 days. Infants under two years old are exempt from the payment.

Starting July, Mexico no longer routinely grants the maximum 180-day stay to tourists. Instead, immigration officers now determine the length of stay based on each visitor's travel plans and supporting documents. Travellers are advised to verify the number of days authorised upon entry.

The United States is inaugurating a temporary premium visa interview system where B1 business and B2 tourist visa applicants can pay an additional $750 USD to secure an interview slot within 10 working days.

The visa bond programme is being expanded to apply to a total of 50 countries on April 2 and will require foreign nationals from these countries to post a bond of up to $15,000 before receiving B1 or B2 visas for business and tourism in the United States. The bond will be returned to visa recipients who return home in compliance with the terms of the visa and the bond or does not travel.
The 12 new countries include: Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Grenada, Lesotho, Mauritius, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, Seychelles, and Tunisia.

A new eTA must be obtained if the traveler is issued a new passport, changes their name, gender, or country of citizenship, or if their previous responses to the eligibility questions on Form I-736 change.
The G-CNMI VWP allows eligible citizens from 12 countries to travel to Guam and/or the CNMI without the need for a physical visa.
