We have had the pleasure of welcoming new team members who joined us as Intern Associates and have been helping us support our objectives throughout the second quarter of 2026. We invite you to get to know them and their experience at PATA!
Gyung Maw Seng - Events Intern
"If you do it right, tourism is less about the itinerary and more about the impact."
Hello everyone, My name is Gyung Maw Seng but most people know me as Tut. I am northern Myanmar native and currently in my fourth year studying Tourism and Hospitality Management at Bangkok University.
My true passion for this industry began through volunteering. Seeing firsthand how travel can create real understanding and positive change for local communities completely transformed my perspective. It is what drew me to the PATA Student Chapter at my university, and it is exactly why PATA's vision of "Advancing a Meaningful Asia Pacific Tourism" resonates so deeply with me.
As an intern, I am incredibly excited to learn from industry professionals, contribute my own perspective, and grow alongside a community dedicated to responsible travel. Mingalaba, and blessed to meet you all.
