Powering Travel Growth in Asia Pacific: 5 Trend Shifts to Watch
In the past 12 months, 80% of Indian travellers expressed interest in visiting other Asian destinations within the next three years. The same can be said for Europeans and Canadians, with 71% and 53%, respectively (MMGY Global, 2026). In a recent PATA webinar held in collaboration with MMGY Global, Simon Moriarty, VP, Syndicated Research, shared expert insights drawn from data collected and analysed by MMGY Global. The session explored evolving traveller perceptions of destinations and shifting travel priorities. This blog highlights some of the key insights from the presentation.
