On September 20, 2022, IKEA announced that it has halved its food waste, achieving its ambitious timeline to adhere to and go beyond the UN 2030 Goal. Started in 2017, Winnow and IKEA teamed up to implement the Waste Watcher programme across its stores to tackle food waste through Artificial Intelligence.
